JumpStart Juniors Email System
A modular email system that helps JumpStart Juniors, a local youth organization, keep parents, volunteers, and donors in the loop.
About the project
The organization's newsletters were inconsistent and hard to read on phones — which is where nearly all of their audience opens email. I designed a mobile-first, single-column template built from modular blocks: upcoming events, a member spotlight, a volunteer call, and a donate button.
Each month, the coordinator simply picks the blocks they need and drops in new content — no designer required.
Approach & deliverables
An event announcement series and a set of header and badge illustrations keep every send in the same friendly visual voice. I also wrote a short, plain-language usage guide — image sizes, alt text, button styles — for the volunteer who hits send.
