About the project

July is Disability Pride Month, commemorating the signing of the Americans with Disabilities Act in 1990. The nonprofit wanted one strong, shareable piece that explains the month's history and meaning, and gives followers concrete ways to take part.

I structured the content into clear, skimmable sections with a strong visual hierarchy, so the piece works whether someone reads every word or scrolls through in ten seconds.

Approach & deliverables

Accessibility shaped every design decision — a high-contrast palette, generous type sizes, and plain-language copy — because a piece about disability pride should be readable by the widest possible audience. The infographic was then adapted into an Instagram carousel with written alt text for every frame, plus a print handout for community events.
